Village Summer Fete
The Village Fete held on 6 July was a huge success, raising an incredible £7,000 - that’s £6,200 for The Mill, £430 for the Church and nearly £400 for the School. Huge thanks to everyone who helped organise the event, came along, ran stalls, cooked, pulled pints, provided music, donated prizes and advertised in the Fete Guide. Chilli Cook-Off
Del Robertson's Chilli Cook-Off was a sell-out and raised £500. The six hot chefs for the night were (left to right) Del Robertson, Mary Knott, Sam Ryall, Kerry Baxter, Sue Aspinall and Lee Gray. Lee’s chilli came out tops on the night, winning him the coveted 'Crown of Chillies'.

The Italian Clothes Sale on 4 November raised £158, with organiser Kate Cross generously providing wine and snacks for free as a thank you for those who attended.

Offering unique, affordable, handcrafted Christmas gifts, The Mill Christmas Bazaar was organised by the ladies from the popular 'Made in the Villages' group. It took place in the Village Hall Annex alongside Cottingham C of E Primary School PTFA Christmas Fair, which will took place in the School Hall at the same time, raising money for the school.

Del’s Souper Quiz
Del's Souper Quiz for teams of up to six people. It's £5 per person, including homemade soup and a roll at half time, with all profits going to The Mill. B.Y.O drinks (don't forget glasses/vessels) and some nibbles if you fancy. Doors open 7.30pm for an 8pm start.

Village Wine Safari – POSTPONED
This event has unfortunately been POSTPONED in the light of the Coronavirus outbreak. The organisers will refund anyone who has paid for tickets in advance and will also return any wine donations. It's hoped that the Wine Safari can be reinstated later this year if possible but, obviously, it is difficult to judge right now. Plant sale – veggies and flowers
Ro Freeman, Chris and George West-Robinson's sale of home-grown vegetable and flower plants outside the village shop raised £183.10 for the Mill. They also sold a variety of pots kindly donated by Diana Sharvill and Sue Trengrove. Thanks to everyone who came along to buy a little something for their garden.

VE Day Celebration Evening – POSTPONED
With the current Coronavirus situation, the likelihood of gatherings being restricted for several months to come and Corby Conservative Club unsure when they will be able to open again, Paula Orton and the team organising this event have regrettably decided to keep everyone safe and postpone until some time in the future. Number Hunt
We’re all going on a...Number Hunt! Developed by Jan and Del Robertson and Liz and Richard Allen from Ali Freestone’s original idea, the Number Hunt invites you to take a 45 minute to 1 hour walk around our lovely villages, hunt out numbers in various places and spaces, then add them together.
